America’s Funeral: Trump’s Billionaire Bill Kills the Dream Before the 4th of July

As fireworks prepare to light up the sky, Trump’s brutal billionaire-backed bill dims the hope of millions—gutting Medicaid, slashing food aid, and signaling the death of America’s promise.

As the nation readies itself for another Fourth of July, there's a grim irony unfolding in Washington: the House just passed Donald Trump’s “Big Bullshit Bill”—a grotesque gift to billionaires and a death sentence for millions of working-class Americans. This isn't a celebration. It's a funeral.

While MAGA Republicans light fireworks in the name of “freedom,” their legislation will rip Medicaid from millions, shut down nursing homes, and slash billions from food assistance programs. Children will go hungry. Elderly Americans will be left to fend for themselves. This isn’t governance—it’s a calculated act of cruelty dressed in the red, white, and blue.

The timing is no accident. Trump wanted this passed just before Independence Day to make a statement: this is his vision for America. One where wealth rules, suffering is ignored, and freedom is reserved for the powerful. The bill, sold as “tax relief,” is in fact the largest wealth transfer from the bottom to the top in modern U.S. history.

And yet, the Democrats barely put up a fight. Sure, Jeffries took to the House floor for 8 hours; but he spent the weekend trashing Zohran Mamdani when his work and words were needed elsewhere! The establishment continues to prove it’s more afraid of losing donor approval than protecting the people it claims to represent.

This moment demands outrage. But more than that, it demands clarity. The pain being legislated into existence is real, and it’s coming fast. But so too is the power of a people who refuse to be silent. This funeral isn’t the end—it’s the wake-up call.
